Technical Instructor & Technical Writer

About the role

IAI Academy is seeking a Technical Instructor & Technical Writer to create and deliver training and documentation for advanced technological systems. The position combines technical writing, curriculum development, and classroom instruction for customers in Israel and abroad.

Key responsibilities

• Develop technical documentation, user guides, and training materials for complex systems.
• Interview engineers and project experts to capture knowledge and translate it into clear instructional content.
• Analyze engineering reports and convert technical data into usable training kits.
• Design and produce instructional kits and e‑learning modules.
• Conduct classroom and on‑site training sessions for customers and partners.

Required profile

• B.Sc./B.Eng. or Practical Engineer diploma in Electronics Engineering (required).
• Military service in relevant technological units or comparable experience (advantage).
• Previous training or instructional experience (significant advantage).
• High‑level English proficiency in speaking, reading and writing (required).
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Comfortable presenting to audiences and working independently.
