Software QA Automation Engineer

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a Software QA Automation Engineer to join the CathWorks team in Kefar Sava, Israel. The role involves both manual and automated testing to ensure the quality, reliability, and safety of medical software products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain automated test solutions within CI/CD pipelines for end‑to‑end functional and regression scenarios.
• Own manual and automated test execution and reporting within assigned Scrum teams, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Analyze test results and failure trends, providing actionable insights to developers and stakeholders.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies and collaborate with developers to improve software testability.
• Contribute to automation standards and testing best practices across Scrum teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience combining test automation and manual software testing.
• Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.

Required skills

• Programming in Java or C#.
• Strong understanding of Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Core automation technologies: TestNG, Appium, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps.
