Senior Product Manager – AI Token Cost Management

About the role

PointFive is looking for a Senior Product Manager to own TokenShift, its new product that identifies and reduces wasted AI token spend. You will shape the strategy for a brand‑new category, working closely with R&D, design, and data science to bring the solution from early adoption to a core platform pillar.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for TokenShift from discovery through general availability.
• Translate deep technical knowledge of AI agents, LLM workloads, and inference pipelines into clear requirements for engineering.
• Partner with R&D, design, and data science to prioritize, build, and ship features that surface and cut AI token waste.
• Engage directly with enterprise customers to understand deployment patterns, cost gaps, and visibility needs.
• Define success metrics such as adoption, cost savings, and detection accuracy, and use them to guide roadmap decisions.

Required profile

• Technical background – former software engineer or technical PM with hands‑on coding or systems experience.
• 4+ years of product management experience shipping complex technical B2B products, preferably developer tools or infrastructure.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with large‑scale usage and cost data.

Required skills

• AI coding agents and agentic AI systems.
• LLM provider APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) and token‑based pricing models.
• Cloud cost management / FinOps.
• Infrastructure observability and telemetry collection.
• Cybersecurity concepts such as EDR/XDR, detection, and policy logic.
