Staff Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

This role is crucial for simplifying the dining experience for students across the US. You will design resilient, self‑healing systems, manage multi‑region AWS infrastructure, and drive reliability across a rapidly growing platform.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and own multi‑region resilient services, including active‑standby designs, failover, RTO/RPO targets, and data‑layer replication (ElastiCache, MongoDB/Atlas, RDS).
• Manage AWS infrastructure as code using Terraform/Terraspace, Helm, and Helmfile, from design through rollout.
• Operate the Kubernetes platform (EKS) – lifecycle management, controller/add‑on upgrades, ingress, and autoscaling (HPA/KEDA).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Lead incident response, post‑mortems, failure analysis, and service reviews.

Required profile

• 8+ years in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering with staff‑level scope and ownership of production platforms.
• Experience operating in PCI‑scoped environments and handling compliance requirements.
• Strong technical writing, documentation, and ability to build consensus across distributed teams.
