Senior System Engineer

About the role

The Senior System Engineer will have a significant impact on multidisciplinary R&D projects within the Animal Health Technology Solutions division, driving the design and delivery of connected IoT devices from discovery through to field testing.

Key responsibilities

• Define system, hardware, embedded, ATE, software and integration requirements across product lifecycles.
• Contribute to multi‑discipline design stages, protocol definition, proof‑of‑concept and field testing.
• Collaborate with product, platform, embedded software, hardware, integration, backend and front‑end teams in a matrix organization.

Required profile

• BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of multidisciplinary system design experience.
• Proven experience with communication products, embedded hardware, RF systems and complex IoT solutions.
• Strong problem‑solving, teamwork and ability to quickly grasp new technical concepts.

Required skills

• Cloud infrastructure (Azure, serverless), Linux environment.
• Embedded software development, Python, C/C#/Java.
• RF communication technologies (BLE, WiFi, LTE‑M, LoRa).
• Tools: Atlassian suite, Azure DevOps.
