About the role
Applied Materials is seeking a Senior Cloud Network & DevOps Engineer to design, automate and optimise secure, scalable cloud networking solutions across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform. You will lead technical architecture, drive automation and ensure resilient, zero‑trust connectivity for enterprise workloads.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise cloud networking topologies, routing, peering, transit and hybrid connectivity across AWS, Azure and GCP.
- Develop IaC solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep and Ansible, and build API‑driven self‑service provisioning.
- Architect and support DNS, DHCP and IPAM services (Infoblox, Route 53, Azure DNS, Google Cloud DNS) and integrate them with automation pipelines.
- Implement Zero Trust, SASE/SSE and secure application connectivity, collaborating with cybersecurity teams.
- Lead architecture reviews, mentor engineers and define technology roadmaps and standards.
Required profile
- 7+ years of experience in network engineering, cloud networking or DevOps.
- 5+ years designing enterprise solutions on AWS, Azure and/or GCP.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
- Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineers.
