Senior Product Manager – Chargeback Recovery & Dispute Management
Forter · Israel - Tel Aviv
Job description
About the role
Forter's Chargeback Recovery and Dispute Management products help merchants win back revenue lost to chargebacks. The company is looking for a Senior Product Manager based in Tel Aviv to own this domain end-to-end, reporting to the Product Director, Risk Platform. The role covers the strategy and roadmap for ingesting disputes from payment service providers, building and submitting evidence, and recovering revenue for merchants, including the move toward in-house dispute capabilities and a growing ecosystem of PSP integrations.
Key responsibilities
- Define the vision and long-term roadmap for Chargeback Recovery and Dispute Management, making decisions on build versus partner, automation versus manual operations, and where to invest in customer experience.
- Own the full product surface: merchant-facing UI, dispute ingestion (webhooks, APIs, batch/SFTP), dispute submission, the evidence recommendation engine, automation rules, evidence API and letter generation.
- Set the strategy for connecting to direct PSPs and processors to ingest and dispute chargebacks at scale.
- Lead the evolution of the Dispute Agent and related AI capabilities, identifying where multi-step AI can replace manual work and translating it into features with measurable efficiency gains.
- Own releases end-to-end: requirements, internal training, rollout, adoption monitoring and feedback, and run a regular Product Council with GTM stakeholders.
- Act as the primary product point of contact for Sales, Presales, Implementation and Customer Success, supporting complex enterprise deals from first call through go-live, helping with integrations and stepping in on post-launch escalations.
- Own the product's documentation and collateral: public docs, Help Center, internal enablement content, education courses, implementation playbooks, and one-pagers, ROI frameworks and presentations with Product Marketing.
Required profile
- Proven experience in the chargebacks/disputes ecosystem, ideally with large e-commerce merchants, PSPs or dispute vendors, and understanding of reason codes, representment and card network programs.
- 5+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, owning a domain end-to-end and driving commercial outcomes.
- Comfortable defining requirements for systems that integrate with others, and able to hold your own in a technical design review.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences worldwide, and the ability to write a PRD, run a merchant call and present to the C-suite.
- High autonomy, with the ability to prioritize ruthlessly across competing GTM and product demands.
What we offer
- RSU offerings and learning and development programs built around AI tools.
- A culture of recognition rooted in 4.5-day work weeks.
- Team outings and local cultural celebrations.
- Hybrid work model, with team members near key hubs expected to work from the office at least three days per week.
