Decision Analyst

About the role

Forter is hiring a Decision Analyst in Tel Aviv to own the accuracy, robustness and performance of its e-commerce fraud decisioning system, which is widely regarded as a leader in the industry. The role sits in the Decision Science and Analytics department, combining deep data research with real-time production systems. Prior coding experience is not required, and agentic tools and structured training help candidates close technical gaps quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Invent, design, implement and continuously refine the core decisioning logic and models running in live production systems
• Research complex fraud patterns, adversarial behaviors and emerging threats
• Use rich datasets to generate insights, build new system components and advance feature engineering
• Use agentic tools such as Claude Code to build automatic tools and processes that improve accuracy, scalability and efficiency
• Work closely with engineers, product managers and business stakeholders on AI-driven technology

Required profile

• Psychometric score above 700 or equivalent (e.g. GMAT)
• Record of high achievement, academic, professional or otherwise
• Strong analytical and logical reasoning, able to solve highly complex problems
• Comfortable learning new tools and technologies
• Natural curiosity about systemic behaviors and adversarial tactics
• Proactive, results-driven, able to work independently within a collaborative team
• Experience building things with AI: agentic workflows, apps and automations, with an example you can describe

Required skills

• Experience with Python, SQL or R is an advantage but not required
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and SQL or Python is a bonus
• Background in risk analysis, intelligence or adversarial research is a bonus
