Senior Process Engineer

About the role

Join Medtronic's engineering team in Yokneam as a Senior Process Engineer. You will drive improvements in efficiency, quality, and safety across manufacturing operations, collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own manufacturing processes on the production floor, including pFMEA, equipment URS, work instructions, and test methods.
• Design and develop jigs, fixtures, and support tools for medical device assembly and testing.
• Develop process layouts, equipment installation plans, and statistical process control techniques.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives using the Medtronic Performance System (MPS) to improve KPIs such as yield, scrap, quality, safety, and OEE.
• Manage project timelines, scope, and budgets, and act as the main contact with Operations Innovation and regional improvement teams.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or a related manufacturing‑focused engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or related process industries.
• Strong problem‑solving, execution, and communication skills in English.
• Proactive, big‑picture mindset with ability to manage interfaces and deliver documented outputs.

Required skills

• pFMEA and Equipment URS development.
• Design of jigs, fixtures, and manufacturing support tools.
• Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques.
• Six Sigma/Green Belt certification (preferred).
• ISO 13485 Lead Auditor knowledge (preferred).
