Process Engineer

About the role

Join Medtronic's engineering team in Yoqneam as a Process Engineer, driving efficiency, quality and safety improvements across manufacturing operations. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to solve problems, optimize processes and support continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing process ownership on the production floor, including pFMEA, equipment URS, work instructions and test methods.
• Implement jigs, fixtures and other support tools for medical device assembly and testing.
• Improve processes, layouts and material handling; review machine arrangement for optimal productivity.
• Manage projects – timelines, scope, budget – and ensure documentation compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives using Medtronic Performance System (MPS) to boost KPIs such as yield, scrap, quality, safety and OEE.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or a related manufacturing‑focused engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals or related process industries.
• Strong problem‑solving, execution and communication skills in English.
• Proactive, big‑picture mindset with full responsibility for deliverables and supporting documentation.

Required skills

• Mechanical engineering fundamentals and equipment specification (URS).
• Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (pFMEA).
• Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques.
• Six Sigma/Green Belt or ISO 13485 Lead Auditor certification (preferred).
• Design of jigs, fixtures and manufacturing support tools.
