Logistics Operations Coordinator & 3PL Process Control

About the role

Somfy, a French family-owned group and world leader in home automation, is hiring a Logistics Operations & 3PL Process Control Coordinator for its logistics center in Tzrifin, Israel. The role ensures the efficiency, quality and reliability of the supply chain by supervising the external logistics provider (3PL), driving process improvements, managing regulatory requirements and acting as a link between the warehouse, suppliers and internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day relationship with the external logistics provider and stay actively on site, monitoring warehouse operations and processes.
• Identify operational deviations, report them and follow up until resolved.
• Analyze workflows and lead continuous improvement in packaging, storage and distribution, while monitoring packaging quality against company standards.
• Coordinate activities with the Standards Institution: preparing products for testing, compiling product certification documentation and supporting product approvals, and coordinate shipments to testing laboratories.
• Manage the quarantine process for defective products, including monitoring, documentation, corrective actions and follow-up.
• Support customer-specific technical and operational requests and visit customer sites when needed.
• Work with Purchasing, Import, Customer Service, Quality Assurance and Logistics, resolve issues in real time, document incidents, prepare reports and propose improvements.

Required profile

• Experience in logistics operations, warehouse management or working with 3PL providers is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management or a related field is an advantage.
• Valid driver's license is mandatory.
• Strong ownership, hands-on approach, ability to work independently and manage several priorities at once.

Required skills

• Good proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP, CRM and WMS systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
