Customs Product Manager

About the role

Maersk is seeking a Customs Product Manager for Israel to lead the country’s customs business with full P&L responsibility, commercial growth, and operational excellence. The role is based in Ashdod and requires regular onsite presence.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the country P&L for Maersk Customs, including budgeting and financial planning.
• Develop and execute the Israel customs go‑to‑market plan in alignment with internal stakeholders.
• Oversee customs brokerage operations across Israel, ensuring compliant, high‑quality service delivery.
• Accelerate commercial growth in partnership with sales leadership and strengthen customer relationships.
• Manage a large team of leaders, handling capacity planning, performance management and compensation processes.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of the Israeli customs market, practices and legislation.
• Approximately 10 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in import/export or freight forwarding.
• Proven people‑management experience, including leading other leaders.
• Demonstrated P&L management expertise and a strategic, long‑term business mindset.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Required skills

• In‑depth understanding of Israeli customs legislation and procedures.
• Experience in import and export operations and customs brokerage.
• Financial planning and budgeting capabilities.
