Banking Off-Cycle Internship 2027 - Investment Banking, Tel Aviv

About the role

Barclays is running an off-cycle internship programme for its Investment Banking division in Tel Aviv. The internship lasts 3 to 6 months and gives interns broad exposure to different clients, transactions and specialist areas, with the aim of becoming a full-time analyst. It offers longer project exposure than a summer internship and the chance to work across sectors and products.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate on live deals and client pitches, advising a broad range of corporate clients and supporting business initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Take part in training and development programmes.
• Identify opportunities, develop business cases and help deploy and launch new products and services.
• Manage client relationships and provide customer service support, answering product questions and processing transactions under steadily decreasing supervision.
• Develop and implement financial models and strategies that support investment banking decisions.

Required profile

• Penultimate or final year student, or recently graduated, in any discipline.
• Advanced or fluent English and advanced or fluent Hebrew.
• A keen interest in business and finance, resourcefulness, teamwork, enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Required skills

• In-depth technical knowledge of the assigned area of expertise.
• Thorough understanding of the underlying principles and concepts in that area.
