Accounting Responsiblee

About the role

Brenntag Israel is looking for an Accounting Responsiblee with hands-on experience of at least 15 years, based in Beer Ya'akov, Tel Aviv. The role supports day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate transaction processing, timely payments, account reconciliations and compliance with financial and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Record, review and process supplier invoices accurately and on time.
• Process domestic and international supplier payments and payments to overseas suppliers, coordinating related documentation.
• Prepare and complete reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, and investigate variances or outstanding transactions.
• Analyse monthly income and expenses by business area and prepare monthly financial reports submitted to government authorities.
• Process payments to government and regulatory authorities and help prepare annual statutory reports.
• Manage and record bank deposits, and maintain accurate records of import-related files, invoices and supporting documentation.
• Maintain organised financial records and support month-end and year-end accounting activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of hands-on experience.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience with accounts payable, reconciliations, payment processing and general ledger activities.
• Understanding of statutory and regulatory reporting requirements is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Good organisational, documentation and communication skills.
