Analog Design Layout Manager

About the role

The AMS SerDes Layout team manager will lead and develop a high‑performance layout engineering team, ensuring delivery of analog design layouts and fostering collaboration across disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of layout engineers and first‑line managers, building a collaborative culture.
• Own layout execution for AMS designs and partner with circuit designers, physical design engineers, and program managers.
• Drive continuous productivity and quality improvements while managing headcount planning, performance reviews, and career development.
• Represent the layout team in cross‑functional technical and program reviews and communicate status, risks, and mitigation plans to senior leadership.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in layout, circuit design, physical design, or related disciplines.
• Proven experience managing individual contributors and team leads/managers, with program execution responsibility.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence across engineering, program management, and leadership.
