About the role

AppsFlyer’s Finance Team is seeking an experienced Salary Controller to lead end‑to‑end payroll operations for its Israeli workforce, with the potential to expand into global payroll responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Own and analyze payroll processes for 700+ employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain and validate payroll master data throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Manage complex payroll cases such as terminations, relocations, equity implications, and garnishments.
• Lead month‑end and quarter‑end payroll activities, including reconciliations and journal entry support.
• Partner with HR, Finance, Legal and external vendors on compliance and process improvements.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring documentation and controls are audit‑ready.
• Drive continuous improvement by building and optimizing payroll workflows and reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on payroll experience in a large global company.
• Proven end‑to‑end payroll expertise, including calculations, benefits, deductions and statutory reporting.
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations; Israeli payroll knowledge is a strong advantage.
• Ability to manage high volume, tight deadlines and frequent changes with high accuracy.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, ownership, discretion and integrity.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations, data validation).
• Experience with Hilan systems (Hilan Pro, Hilan NEXT, Hilanet).
• Familiarity with NetSuite and HRIS platforms such as Oracle.
• Hands‑on experience applying AI or automation tools to payroll or reporting workflows.
