Senior Analog Design Engineer - MCU

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Analog/Circuit Engineer to join the Analog team at NXP Israel’s Yokneam site. The engineer will lead the development and integration of next‑generation ultra‑low‑power technology for battery‑operated System‑on‑Chip (SoC) solutions. The role focuses on delivering algorithms and circuit designs that maximise battery life across a wide frequency range.

Key responsibilities

• Lead algorithm development for ultra‑low‑power technology, defining performance targets and energy budgets.
• Integrate the technology into new NXP SoC designs, collaborating with hardware and software groups.
• Perform a variety of circuit and analog chip design tasks, including layout and simulation.
• Validate new developments through testing and verification to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to drive technology adoption and resolve integration issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in analog/circuit design.
• BSc in Electrical Engineering (MSc preferred).
• Strong system view with clear HW‑SW task separation experience.
• Excellent communication skills with multinational teams.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Required skills

• Circuit design.
• RTL coding in Verilog.
• Static Timing Analysis (STA) flow.
• Cadence Virtuoso design and simulation tools.
• Python programming (advantage).
• Knowledge of ultra‑low‑power design techniques (advantage).
