Senior NPI Hardware Quality Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior NPI Hardware Quality Engineer to lead quality strategy across the full product development lifecycle, from concept through production release. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage risks, and champion proactive quality initiatives to ensure robust, high‑quality hardware products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multi‑functional teams to complete all development stages while meeting technical guidelines and quality criteria.
• Execute development phases in strict accordance with engineering standards and defined quality requirements.
• Drive proactive quality activities such as Inquiry, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Identify, prioritize, track, and mitigate potential risks to protect schedule and quality.
• Manage product changes and maintain configuration control throughout the development lifecycle.
• Promote early detection mechanisms through continuous monitoring and rapid issue resolution.
• Ensure adherence to quality control plans and continuously improve design, verification, and validation processes.
• Partner with Continuous Improvement to reduce customer complaints and internal scrap via quality process projects.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Electrical, Mechanical, Materials, Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years in hardware design development, testing, or process engineering.
• 5+ years focused on quality engineering.
• Experience with manufacturing processes, board design/assembly, or semiconductor environments.
• Background in hardware qualification, reliability, and quality procedures.
