Senior PCB Layout Designer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior PCB Layout Designer to lead our hardware team’s PCB development efforts. The role requires a hands‑on professional who can take full ownership of the layout process, from component creation to manufacturing release.

Key responsibilities

• Design and edit PCB layouts, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Own the end‑to‑end PCB layout process, driving continuous improvements.
• Manage PCB layout activities and maintain electronic component libraries.
• Collaborate closely with Development Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, and PCB manufacturers.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in PCB layout design, covering component creation through manufacturing release.
• Proven ability to define components, work with databases, and review/correct layouts created by others.
• Experience supporting PCB manufacturers on technical issues.
• Strong independent work ethic and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Practical Engineer or B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering (advantage).

Required skills

• EXPEDITION PCB design tool.
• Knowledge of IPC‑6012 and IPC‑6013 standards.
