Business Operations Senior Manager

About the role

Fiverr is looking for a Business Operations Senior Manager to own and drive the early freelancer journey. You will shape strategy, lead a high‑performing team, and ensure freelancers are activated and reach their first engagement on the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Own the strategy and long‑term plan for the freelancer acquisition, onboarding, vetting, quality & trust domain, aligning it with Fiverr’s broader objectives.
• Lead, develop, and mentor a collaborative, high‑performing team with strong ownership and accountability.
• Drive execution of cross‑functional, strategic initiatives, working closely with multiple teams to align stakeholders and deliver business outcomes.
• Make independent decisions, manage trade‑offs, and proactively flag issues that require leadership visibility.
• Leverage data and AI tools to inform decisions, optimise processes, and produce actionable reporting.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in a people‑management role, having built and led a team.
• Background in management consulting and/or strategy roles within the tech sector.
• Proven strategic thinking with the ability to set a clear vision and translate it into execution.
• Operator mindset – outcome‑driven, hands‑on, and comfortable owning end‑to‑end results.
• Strong data‑driven decision‑making using analytics to shape strategy and measure success.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of building trusted partnerships across business leaders and cross‑functional teams.
• Collaborative, low‑ego team player who can operate independently and as part of a broader leadership group.
