Developer Marketing Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Developer Marketing Manager to drive audience growth, community engagement, and product adoption for Okoora Build. In this hands‑on individual contributor role you will blend developer marketing, product‑led growth, technical content creation, and community building to accelerate the platform’s global expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the developer marketing strategy, targeting developers, founders, product teams and builders.
• Plan and launch product, feature and community initiatives, including tutorials, demos, templates, videos and use‑case guides.
• Build and manage programs on GitHub, Hacker News, Reddit, X, LinkedIn and other technical platforms.
• Organise hackathons, workshops, meet‑ups, build challenges and live build sessions.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to refine messaging, onboarding, activation and adoption flows.
• Identify friction points in the user journey and improve time‑to‑first‑build.
• Design growth loops that encourage repeat builds, sharing and referrals.
• Leverage AI tools daily for research, content creation, campaign experimentation and performance analysis.
• Measure success through acquisition, activation, builds created, retention, community growth and commercial progression.

Required profile

• Proven experience in developer marketing, growth, technical product marketing or developer relations.
• Deep understanding of developer audiences, API platforms and technical adoption journeys.
• Track record of launching products and creating technical content.
• Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and credibly.
• Excellent English writing, communication and presentation skills.
• Creative, curious, energetic and comfortable working independently.
