Vice President of Quality (VP QA)

About the role

LTS, a leading pharmaceutical technology company, is seeking a Vice President of Quality to lead its QA function in Israel. This permanent, full‑time position operates in a hybrid work model and reports directly to the General Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute short‑term and long‑term QA strategy (1‑ and 3‑year plans) and manage the QA budget.
• Lead the QA department, overseeing daily activities such as CAPA, NCMR, ECO, SCAR, incoming, in‑process, and final inspections, and product release.
• Act as the management representative for the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with regulatory and certification agencies.
• Provide guidance to product development teams to meet quality requirements throughout the development cycle.
• Drive cross‑functional collaboration to embed quality standards across the organization.
• Plan and conduct internal audits, supplier audits, and lead external audit preparation.

Required profile

• Degree in Science or Engineering (advantageous).
• Minimum 10 years of QA experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven QA management experience in a medical device environment.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of ISO standards and external audit processes.
• Hands‑on experience with QMS, CAPA, NCMR, ECO, and SCAR procedures.
• Internal and supplier audit execution.
• Proficiency with all MS‑Office applications.
• Understanding of clean‑room and sterilization concepts (advantage).
