Technical Trainer – Machining & Fabrication

About the role

UCT is seeking a Technical Trainer to develop and deliver high‑impact training programs for machining, turning, metal fabrication and precision assembly at its Israel manufacturing site. You will work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality and HR to build a skilled, safe and competent workforce that supports the semiconductor and process industries.

Key responsibilities

• Design, maintain and continuously improve structured curricula for CNC machining, manual turning, metal fabrication and assembly roles.
• Translate engineering drawings, process sheets and manufacturing standards into clear, hands‑on training materials.
• Create learning paths that cover foundational skills, equipment‑specific operation, safety requirements and progressive competency development.
• Lead onboarding of new hires, assess baseline skill levels, deliver safety and compliance training, and guide trainees through supervised practice to independent operation.
• Partner with supervisors to monitor skill progression and certify competency.
• Deliver classroom, shop‑floor and one‑on‑one coaching sessions covering CNC operation, tool selection, cutting parameters, deburring, finishing, precision assembly, GD&T, blueprint reading, metrology, torque procedures, leak testing and contamination control.
