About the role
Israel Shipyards is looking for a Safety Officer to join its SHE Team. The role involves implementing and promoting safety procedures across production facilities for employees and contractors.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and promote safety procedures and best practices throughout production facilities.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses for routine and complex operations.
- Monitor compliance with mandatory training, certifications and ISO 45001 requirements.
- Provide safety guidance, training and information to employees regarding workplace hazards.
Required profile
- Certified Safety Officer with a valid competency certificate.
- Thorough knowledge of occupational safety legislation and ISO 45001.
- Experience as a Safety Officer in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Availability for full‑time work, including overtime as required.
Required skills
- Microsoft Office and standard computer applications.
- Risk assessment and hazard analysis techniques.
