Supply Chain Project Manager

About the role

As a key member of the Supply Chain organization at Applied Materials, you will lead high‑impact programs that drive business transformation, supply‑chain readiness and operational excellence across the product lifecycle. The role blends program management, analytics and AI‑enabled decision making to deliver strategic outcomes for a global semiconductor equipment leader.

Key responsibilities

• Program Management: Lead and manage multiple strategic projects and programs, applying best‑in‑class methodologies to ensure successful delivery of outcomes, milestones and resources.
• Communication & Influence: Present complex findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels, create impactful PowerPoint presentations and facilitate consensus‑building meetings.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships with global R&D, Operations, Procurement, Finance and Business teams to align and execute strategic initiatives.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements using data insights and best practices to boost operational efficiency.
• Analytics & Reporting: Analyze large datasets with advanced tools (Excel, Databricks, Tableau, Power BI, SQL) to uncover trends, risks and opportunities and produce performance reports.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Ensure comprehensive documentation of project phases and disseminate knowledge across functional areas.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of program management, analytics or related experience in a matrixed, global organization.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CAPM or Six Sigma are a plus.
• Proven experience leveraging AI tools to improve business processes and decision‑making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence diverse teams.
