About the role
Applied Materials is seeking a senior Software Infrastructure Engineer to lead the development and integration of infrastructure components for next‑generation semiconductor and display metrology platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development and integration of infrastructure components for the team.
- Ensure seamless integration with common infrastructure across domains.
- Drive infrastructure projects from design through deployment.
- Mentor and guide team members on best practices for infrastructure usage.
- Collaborate with cross‑domain teams to align infrastructure solutions.
Required profile
- 7+ years of strong hands‑on experience in coding and software integration.
- Proven track record with Linux, Kubernetes, and domain‑driven architecture.
- Experience with DevOps and related infrastructure tools.
- Experience delivering infrastructure projects and mentoring engineers.
- Ability to deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable infrastructure solutions.
