Senior Full-Stack Engineer

About the role

ServiceNow's Advanced Technology Group is looking for an experienced, backend-leaning full-stack engineer in Tel Aviv. You will build customer-facing capabilities across the browser, APIs, data models, real-time infrastructure, asynchronous jobs and external integrations, with autonomy to shape problems, make architectural decisions and own work from idea through production.

Key responsibilities

• Build AI-powered product capabilities across React, Node.js, PostgreSQL and shared contracts.
• Own features from product definition and system design through implementation, testing, deployment and operation.
• Design secure APIs, authorization rules, data models and backward-compatible migrations.
• Build reliable asynchronous and real-time workflows using queues, pub/sub, jobs, schedules and WebSockets.
• Develop enterprise integrations involving OAuth, webhooks, rate limits, external APIs and vendor failures.
• Protect tenant boundaries and validate untrusted input across HTTP, sockets, queues and AI tool execution.
• Build, deploy and operate services on AWS and Kubernetes, and diagnose production issues using logs, traces, metrics, databases and message brokers.
• Work with product, frontend, AI and platform engineers and help evolve engineering practices as AI changes software development.

Required profile

• Strong TypeScript fundamentals and production experience with React and Node.js.
• A track record of driving complex, customer-facing features end to end with visible product impact.
• Experience with asynchronous or distributed systems: queues, pub/sub, WebSockets, retries and idempotency.
• Experience with automated unit, integration, API and end-to-end testing.
• Hands-on AI Development Lifecycle (ADLC) experience: shipping software using AI across discovery, design, implementation, testing, review, documentation and production debugging, with validation of AI-generated work and human ownership of architecture and outcomes.
• Comfortable working without heavy specification or process overhead, with high ownership of reliability and customer outcomes.
