Software Validation Engineer (QA Engineer)

About the role

The Software Validation Engineer ensures high‑quality delivery of complex software systems through feature testing, system integration, regression testing and analysis. You will work closely with development, integration and field teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with software development during design and implementation to provide risk assessment and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Design, document and execute test plans, procedures and qualification activities for features and full systems.
• Perform feature validation, regression testing and system‑level testing; analyse results and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead on‑tool and off‑tool system testing and investigate regressions using logs, traces and system data.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software/Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in software validation, QA or system testing of complex products.
• Strong experience with feature testing, system integration, regression testing and defect analysis.
• Hands‑on experience in Windows environment (Linux experience is a plus).
