Senior Software Development Engineer

About the role

BeyondTrust, a cybersecurity SaaS company, is hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer for its Entitle Just-In-Time Access Management system. You will join a fast-paced team designing, developing, delivering and maintaining a cloud-based solution using modern orchestration technologies, acting as a technical leader on cloud-scale challenges. The role is based in the central Tel Aviv office.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain highly scalable and resilient backend components, services and orchestration.
• Deliver an excellent user experience for complex API-based integrations.
• Contribute to system design and provide technical leadership for increasingly complex projects.
• Review functional and technical requirements, identify gaps and propose simplifications, communicating clearly with cross-functional teams.
• Take end-to-end ownership of results, both individually and as part of a team, while pursuing high quality through engineering best practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience delivering and supporting enterprise-ready cloud-based systems.
• Full lifecycle development experience, including product release in an agile environment and CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience architecting and developing backend services and building scalable microservices.
• Ability to connect to API services with limited functionality or scalability, and to optimize performance on cloud and on-premises systems.
• Team player who handles ambiguity, takes initiative and holds high standards.

Required skills

• Python with a deep understanding of OOP, system design, networks and Linux.
• Public cloud: AWS, Google Cloud and Azure.
• Data engineering: RabbitMQ, S3, ClickHouse, Airflow, Spark, Elasticsearch.
• Unit testing frameworks and end-to-end testing tools.
• Monitoring and alerting strategies.
