Senior Software Architect – SaaS Platform

About the role

Personetics is looking for a Senior Software Architect to define and evolve the architecture of its AI‑driven SaaS banking platform. The role is hands‑on, working closely with product, delivery and engineering squads to design scalable, reliable systems that support millions of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve architecture for core domains such as APIs, services, data flows, integration, observability and security.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs, roadmaps and architecture artefacts (diagrams, ADRs, reference implementations).
• Partner with squads to design solutions, review designs and code, and ensure non‑functional requirements are met.
• Promote architecture principles, coding standards and reusable patterns across teams.
• Work with DevOps/SRE to make architectures observable, operable and resilient, and lead remediation of technical debt.

Required profile

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including senior/architect roles designing complex, distributed systems.
• Proven experience with cloud‑native architectures (AWS, Azure or GCP), containers and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Hands‑on expertise in at least one major language such as Java, Python or Node.js.
• Experience shaping technical direction in agile, product‑focused environments.

Required skills

• Microservices or modular monolith design, event‑driven patterns and robust APIs.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Infrastructure‑as‑code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• CI/CD pipelines, observability, authentication and data platform integration.
