Senior Staff Software Engineer - ITOM Health UI

About the role

ServiceNow is hiring a Senior Staff Software Engineer in Petah Tikva to shape the user interface architecture for ITOM Health, its IT Operations Management applications. The role defines development standards that keep the applications coherent, maintainable and scalable, sets the technical direction for how front-end components are built, shared and extended, and works closely with engineering teams. It also involves using AI tools to accelerate design and development.

Key responsibilities

• Shape the UI architecture across ITOM Health applications, including component models, shared patterns and the boundaries between application and platform code.
• Define and evolve development standards for UI engineering, covering code structure, accessibility, performance, testing and reuse.
• Partner with product owners and engineering teams to turn operational workflows (monitoring, event and incident handling, service operations) into intuitive, efficient interfaces.
• Evaluate and adopt AI-assisted development tools and establish practices that increase productivity without compromising quality.
• Design interfaces that customers can extend and customize, and review designs and code while setting the bar for quality.
• Mentor engineers and promote knowledge sharing across the team and with adjacent ITOM and platform teams.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience with modern UI frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue.
• Passion for UI development and for JavaScript and the web as a platform, reusability and componentization.
• Experience using AI tools and building AI products.
• Ability to work with cross-cultural teams and to manage projects with material technical risk at a team level.
