Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will lead the design and development of industrial ventilation, filtration and air‑treatment systems, ensuring solutions meet performance, safety and regulatory requirements. This full‑time hybrid position is based in Ashkelon, combining on‑site work at company and client facilities with occasional remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed mechanical designs and 3D models using CAD tools, and prepare manufacturing drawings.
• Select appropriate components and materials for harsh industrial environments.
• Collaborate with project managers, production teams and installation crews to support planning, cost estimation and technical documentation.
• Review and optimise existing designs, participate in site surveys and resolve engineering issues during installation and commissioning.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design standards and processes.

Required profile

• Strong mechanical design background with proficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or Inventor.
• Experience designing industrial ventilation, HVAC, dust‑collection or filtration systems, including airflow and structural considerations.
• Knowledge of relevant engineering standards, safety regulations and best practices for mechanical installations.
• Proven ability to lead projects, manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Good command of written and spoken English; Hebrew proficiency is a plus.
