Senior Full Stack Engineer II – CX Offering

About the role

Forter is looking for a senior full‑stack engineer to join the Customer Experience Offerings (CXO) team, building and scaling core products and agentic AI experiences for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the go‑to technical expert across core areas of the CXO platform, setting standards for code quality, maintainability and architecture.
• Drive technical decisions on large‑scale, mission‑critical systems, lead design reviews and own cross‑system initiatives from definition to delivery.
• Define success metrics, measure impact post‑delivery and proactively improve system cost, scale and stability.
• Engage with customers to gather feedback and drive improvements that benefit multiple teams.
• Identify and improve team processes such as documentation, code review practices and onboarding.

Required profile

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with deep full‑stack expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, React and Next.js.
• Proven track record as a technical leader delivering multi‑system initiatives and setting architectural standards.
• Hands‑on experience operating high‑scale data systems (billions of records) using Redis, Kafka, SQS, Elasticsearch, MySQL and Snowflake.
• Experience building customer‑facing products, collaborating with product managers and stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and ability to mentor engineers.
