Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly close for revenue, COGS, inventory and accounts receivable, including reconciliations, reserves, cut‑off procedures and gross‑margin analysis.
• Implement and maintain revenue‑recognition and contract‑accounting policies, covering multi‑component transactions, allocation of consideration, billing terms and deferred revenue.
• Partner with Sales on contract terms, billing arrangements and non‑standard transactions to ensure proper accounting treatment.
• Work closely with Supply Chain throughout the inventory lifecycle, handling costing, reconciliations, reserves and controls.
• Prepare transfer‑pricing calculations, true‑ups and coordinate intercompany billing and documentation.
• Lead the US sales‑tax reporting process, including reconciliations and coordination with external advisors.
• Manage the collection process in collaboration with Sales, reviewing AR aging, following up customers and monitoring credit risk.

Required profile

• CPA qualification with experience at a Big 4 firm.
• At least eight years of accounting experience, including revenue accounting and monthly‑close in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606 revenue‑recognition principles.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional process improvements and implement financial controls.

Required skills

• CPA certification.
• US GAAP and ASC 606 expertise.
• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
• Understanding of US sales‑tax and transfer‑pricing rules.
