About the role

InterContinental David Tel Aviv is seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to lead its finance team, overseeing daily accounting operations and ensuring compliance with international standards.

Key responsibilities

Manage and oversee the hotel’s daily accounting activities.
Perform bank, credit card, supplier and customer reconciliations.
Handle invoices, payments, journal entries and accounting reconciliations.
Prepare financial data and periodic reports.
Support month‑end closing, balance sheet preparation and internal/external audits.
Lead and manage the accounting team.

Required profile

Bookkeeping Certificate – Type 2.
Previous bookkeeping/accounting experience.
Team management experience.
Experience in hospitality or an international organization (advantage).
High‑level English proficiency.
Strong organizational accuracy and attention to detail.

Required skills

Advanced Excel.
Financial systems proficiency.
