Printed Circuit Board Designer

About the role

BA Microwaves, part of the Commit Group, is seeking a talented Hardware Board Designer to join its multidisciplinary R&D team. The role involves designing and developing advanced electronic systems from concept through integration, collaborating with hardware, firmware, software and system engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop complex electronic boards from concept to production.
• Perform hands‑on schematic design, component selection and support PCB layout activities.
• Prepare and present design reviews and collaborate closely with firmware, software, RF and system engineering teams.
• Develop multidisciplinary systems incorporating CPUs/SoCs, FPGA‑based designs, analog and mixed‑signal circuits, high‑speed interfaces (DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, LVDS), RF chains, filters, amplifiers and power management.
• Support board bring‑up, debugging, validation and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in board‑level hardware design.
• Strong analytical skills and a hands‑on approach in a multidisciplinary environment.

Required skills

• Schematic design and PCB development.
• Digital and analog circuit design, including high‑speed interfaces (DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, LVDS).
• Processor integration and FPGA‑based system design.
• RF circuit design and power‑supply design (advantage).
