Product Security Architect (9‑month contract)

About the role

Axonius is seeking a Product Security Architect for a 9‑month temporary assignment. You will join a fast‑moving Product Security team, working closely with R&D groups in Israel and Portugal to embed security into the development lifecycle of its AI‑driven platform.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with R&D teams to define, prioritize and implement security requirements and mitigation strategies throughout the product lifecycle.
• Conduct architecture, design and threat‑modeling reviews for web applications, cloud (AWS) services and distributed systems.
• Produce detailed security architecture documents, design specifications and technical guidelines for engineering teams.
• Lead incident‑response activities during active cyber‑security events, coordinating cross‑functional remediation.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in application or product security.
• 2+ years of hands‑on software development experience.
• Proven ability to analyze codebases and evaluate architecture in a product‑centric environment.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• AWS cloud environment expertise.
• Threat modeling and security architecture design.
• Incident response and cross‑team remediation.
• Use of AI/LLM tools (e.g., Claude, Augment) to enhance security workflows.
• Hands‑on software development and code analysis.
