About the role

The Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) serves as a scientific ambassador for Novartis in Israel, fostering peer‑to‑peer exchange with healthcare professionals and medical experts in immunology. This hybrid, field‑based position strengthens Novartis’ scientific presence, supports evidence‑based decision making, and informs medical strategy through high‑quality insight generation.

Key responsibilities

• Execute Medical Expert engagement plans aligned with therapeutic area priorities, identifying and involving key medical experts and accounts.
• Conduct unbiased, evidence‑based scientific exchange with HCPs and MEs, sharing up‑to‑date medical information, clinical data, and publications.
• Support education activities such as hospital meetings, regional scientific events, symposia, and other initiatives.
• Collect, synthesize, and communicate actionable external insights to inform local and regional medical strategy.
• Identify and qualify potential study sites, facilitating communication between sites and internal teams for evidence generation.
• Build and maintain partnerships with medical experts, scientific societies, and academic institutions.

Required profile

• Advanced scientific degree (MD, PharmD, DVM, DMD, PhD) or equivalent.
• Fluent in Hebrew and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, planning, and territory‑management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment and influence without authority.
• Resilient, agile mindset with a growth orientation.
