About the role
Cisco Silicon One is looking for a multidisciplinary orchestrator to act as the primary driver of its development infrastructure, which supports silicon development, validation and product execution. The role sits at the intersection of product strategy, hardware engineering and lab operations, owning the end-to-end lifecycle of infrastructure projects so that Sanity Test Beds and development environments stay ready for product launches.
Key responsibilities
- Translate product development roadmaps into long-term infrastructure requirements and drive alignment between silicon milestones and lab availability.
- Act as the main liaison between hardware engineering, software development, procurement and lab operations, keeping teams synchronized despite competing priorities.
- Identify project roadblocks and push critical-path dependencies to resolution in ambiguous environments.
- Drive continuous improvement of infrastructure processes to increase engineering velocity.
- Lead capacity management for power, rack space and compute resources, and oversee infrastructure projects from procurement and specification through deployment, validation and transition to operational readiness.
- Build dashboards and reporting to give real-time visibility into infrastructure health.
- Manage technical specifications, equipment lead times and hardware lifecycles with cross-functional leadership.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of experience in Technical Program Management within hardware development, semiconductor or complex infrastructure environments.
- Deep understanding of SDLC/HDLC, including ASIC development and silicon validation.
- Proven ability to influence without authority and to manage complex, cross-functional projects.
- Exceptional communication skills and proficiency in Agile/Waterfall project management methods.
Preferred qualifications
- Master's degree in a related technical field.
- Direct experience managing development labs, hardware validation environments or large-scale test infrastructure.
- Familiarity with compute infrastructure, high-speed networking, traffic generation systems and hardware test automation/CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with equipment procurement, vendor management, budget planning and infrastructure observability tools.
