About the role

We are seeking a Healthcare Insurance Attorney to join our legal team in Israel. In this highly professional and impactful role you will act as the key authority on health‑insurance matters, providing strategic legal advice and supporting business units and claims professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide ongoing legal advice on health‑insurance matters and handle complex legal issues.
• Analyze and interpret insurance policies, delivering clear guidance to business units.
• Advise on complex healthcare cases, including long‑term care, critical illness, medication, and personal accident insurance.
• Serve as the professional authority for claims professionals handling health‑insurance claims.
• Lead negotiations with stakeholders and drive processes toward solutions and agreements.
• Manage regulatory complaints, public inquiries, and appeals, including case investigation and response preparation.
• Collaborate with regulators on health‑insurance regulatory matters.
• Handle media‑related cases, investigating facts and preparing coordinated responses.
• Work closely with the department manager, providing expert legal support on complex matters.

Required profile

• Valid Israeli Bar Association license (mandatory).
• 4–5 years of experience as a practicing attorney.
• Hands‑on experience in health insurance and strong familiarity with health‑insurance policies (mandatory).
• Proven ability to read, analyze, and interpret insurance policies and draft legal opinions.
• Experience working with regulators or handling regulatory complaints in the healthcare field (advantageous).
• Assertiveness, sound judgment, and the capacity to act as a professional authority.
