Senior Indirect Tax Professional

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Indirect Tax Professional to join our dedicated team of experts. The role involves providing strategic and practical guidance on local and international indirect tax matters, supporting clients across a range of complex transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Advise corporate clients on a broad spectrum of indirect tax issues, including VAT and customs.
• Represent clients during tax assessment proceedings and liaise with tax authorities.
• Prepare and obtain pre‑rulings from the Israel Tax Authority.
• Develop expert opinions and comprehensive tax plans that optimize indirect tax outcomes.
• Support international VAT matters, cross‑border transactions, and import/export tax planning.
• Provide advance tax planning to maximize input tax credit eligibility and VAT refund opportunities.

Required profile

• Certified lawyer (LL.B.) with completed internship and bar admission – mandatory.
• Strong written communication skills – mandatory.
• High proficiency in English – mandatory.
• Experience in large accounting or law firms – advantage.
• Significant experience in VAT‑related matters – advantage.
