Head of Corporate Development

About the role

Dream, a sovereign AI and national cyber‑defense company, is looking for a strategic and execution‑driven Head of Corporate Development. Reporting to the Chief Legal and Corporate Development Officer, you will partner with the executive team to identify, evaluate, and execute growth opportunities that create long‑term value.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a corporate development strategy aligned with company goals.
• Establish best‑practice playbooks and repeatable processes for M&A, joint ventures, and investments.
• Develop financial models, investment theses, and advisory board strategies.
• Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and build a pipeline of potential targets.
• Lead end‑to‑end M&A, investment, and JV processes including sourcing, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, and closing.
• Support post‑transaction integration planning and execution.
• Prepare and present strategic recommendations and updates to executive leadership and the board.
• Ensure readiness for periodic financing and manage inbound investment processes.
• Maintain shareholder relations, produce periodic updates, and create board‑level materials.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or strategy consulting.
• 4+ years of M&A experience at a leading international investment bank.
• Proven track record of leading and closing complex transactions.
