Hardware Design Engineer (Board Design)

About the role

The company is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer specialized in board design to develop advanced electronic boards for aerospace and defence systems. You will work across the full product lifecycle, from concept through production.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and modify electronic boards throughout the entire product lifecycle.
• Perform board bring‑up activities after development and initial manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues, analyse failures and implement design improvements.
• Edit schematics and support PCB layout activities.
• Improve product manufacturability and maintain production documentation.
• Support PCB manufacturers and assembly subcontractors while ensuring compliance with IPC standards.
• Investigate manufacturing failures and provide engineering solutions.
• Participate in design reviews (PDR/CDR) and prepare engineering documentation, test procedures and verification documents.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (mandatory).
• Up to 5 years of professional experience in hardware design engineering.
• Proven experience in analog board design and high‑power power‑supply design.
• Hands‑on experience performing board bring‑up for digital and power‑supply boards.
• Experience preparing and participating in design reviews and writing ATP/POD documentation.
