Hardware Design Engineer (Board Design)

About the role

We are seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to design and develop advanced electronic boards for complex aerospace and defense systems. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to bring innovative board solutions from concept through production.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and modify electronic boards throughout the product lifecycle.
• Perform board bring‑up activities after development and initial manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues, analyse failures and implement design improvements.
• Edit schematics and support PCB layout activities.
• Improve product manufacturability and maintain production documentation.
• Support PCB manufacturers and electronic assembly subcontractors while ensuring IPC compliance.
• Investigate manufacturing failures and provide engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Software, Firmware and System Engineering teams.
• Participate in design reviews (PDR/CDR) and prepare verification documents.
• Assist the transition from development to production.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
• Up to 5 years of professional experience in hardware design engineering.
• Fluent in Hebrew and English.

Required skills

• Analog board design and high‑power power‑supply design.
• Board bring‑up for digital and power‑supply boards.
• Schematic editing and PCB layout support (OrCAD, Allegro).
• Experience with design reviews (PDR/CDR) and ATP/POD documentation.
• Support for PCB manufacturing and electronic assembly processes.
