Founding Unity Developer – Mobile Gaming

About the role

SnoozeSnooze is a mobile‑gaming startup building Spark Journey, a real‑time competitive Merge‑2 PvP game. As a founding Unity Developer you will shape the core gameplay, architecture and performance of a live mobile title.

Key responsibilities

• Write production‑ready Unity C# code, implement gameplay features, UI, progression systems and debug issues.
• Own and improve key parts of the Unity codebase, ensuring scalable, clean and maintainable architecture.
• Make technical decisions on architecture, performance, tools and implementation, and review code to uphold development standards.
• Collaborate with Game Design, Product, UX/UI and other developers to turn concepts into polished gameplay.
• Optimize the mobile experience for performance, stability, responsiveness and memory efficiency across devices.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience shipping commercial mobile games in Unity, preferably live or production titles.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and collaboration skills, with high ownership and ability to work independently in a fast‑moving startup.

Required skills

• Unity engine and C# programming.
• Mobile game development pipelines, performance optimization, memory management, profiling and debugging.
• Software architecture, design patterns and maintainable codebases.
• Implementation of gameplay systems, UI, animations and game mechanics.
• Familiarity with networking/multiplayer systems and Git version control.
