Director of Product Management – AI‑Powered MDR Platform

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to define and drive the product vision for our AI‑powered Managed Detection and Response (MDR) platform. Reporting to executive leadership, you will collaborate with security research, incident response, detection engineering and engineering teams to shape the next generation of Velocity’s security operations capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the product vision, strategy and roadmap for the Velocity TDIR platform, incorporating Generative AI, AI agents, automation and advanced analytics.
• Own product business performance – adoption, customer satisfaction, retention, competitive positioning and growth.
• Partner with Security Research, Detection Engineering, Threat Intelligence and Incident Response to translate emerging threats into differentiated product features.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end product lifecycle from concept, prioritisation and delivery through adoption and continuous improvement.
• Engage directly with customers and strategic prospects to validate direction and strengthen market positioning.

Required profile

• 7–10+ years of product management experience, including 3–5+ years in a Director or Head of Product role.
• Deep understanding of modern security operations – MDR, SOC workflows, threat hunting, detection engineering, incident response, SIEM, XDR, EDR and security automation.
• Proven track record delivering AI/ML or Generative AI‑powered products.
• Strong technical background enabling effective collaboration with engineering, data science and cybersecurity teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Hebrew.
