Engineer III – SaaS Security Research

About the role

Join Adaptive Shield, a CrowdStrike company, as an Engineer III focused on SaaS Security Research. You will help protect enterprise SaaS ecosystems by uncovering vulnerabilities, shaping security strategy, and building proactive product capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced security research in SaaS applications to identify risks and develop proactive product capabilities.
• Collaborate with R&D, Customer Success, and Product Management to embed security practices into the platform.
• Monitor emerging SaaS security threats, research findings, and integrate them into the security strategy.
• Prepare and present detailed reports with findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in SaaS security research, auditing, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security architectures, protocols, and standards.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and SOC 2 and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and strategic thinking about security risks.
• Effective communication skills for interfacing with cross‑functional teams.
