Staff Software Engineer (Armis/Veza)

About the role

ServiceNow's Armis protects the entire attack surface and manages cyber risk exposure in real time, and, together with Veza's Identity Security capabilities, builds an autonomous defense platform for the Agentic Enterprise. The company is looking for a Staff Full Stack Engineer in Tel Aviv to architect, build and scale complex, data-driven web applications, taking a key technical leadership role in building robust microservices, designing cloud-native architectures and delivering fast, intuitive user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of scalable backend microservices, database schemas and advanced frontend infrastructures.
• Drive system architecture decisions, ensuring high performance, security and reliability across AWS cloud environments.
• Write clean, maintainable, high-performing code across the Python backend and React/TypeScript frontend stacks.
• Use AI-assisted development workflows (such as Claude Code) to accelerate delivery while keeping strict standards of code quality, testing and architecture.
• Partner with product managers, data analysts, architects and QA engineers on complex, cross-company initiatives.
• Take end-to-end ownership of horizontal group projects and mentor team members on best engineering practices.

Required profile

• A minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience building and scaling complex web applications.
• Proven experience designing distributed systems, microservices and high-throughput data flows.
• Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and a track record of technical impact.

Required skills

• Strong backend foundation: Python, web frameworks, ORMs, system design, relational and non-relational databases.
• Frontend: JavaScript, TypeScript and React.
• Hands-on AWS experience and cloud-native application deployment and management.
• Power-user experience with Claude Code or similar AI software development tools.
