Director of Engineering – Performance Management

About the role

The Director of Engineering – Performance Management will lead NiCE's engineering teams responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the Performance Management (PM) product. You will drive delivery of high‑quality, scalable, and reliable solutions that meet customer needs while advancing the company's AI‑driven vision.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the PM engineering organization and align it with company objectives.
• Oversee design, development, testing, and deployment of PM micro‑services.
• Manage resource planning, delivery milestones, and overall product quality.
• Ensure system capacity planning, operational support, and reliability.
• Establish development standards, tools, and methodologies.
• Integrate customer and business requirements into engineering efforts.
• Stay current with AI, LLM, SLM, and agentic technologies.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent across global sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 12+ years of software engineering experience, focusing on SaaS, machine learning, deep learning, and LLM.
• 6+ years of management experience in large‑scale environments.
• Proven expertise in data technologies and large‑scale distributed systems.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.

Required skills

• AI and agentic technologies (reasoning models, LLM, SLM, AI SDLC, agentic coding, agents orchestration).
• Containers, microservices, and big data technologies.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure.
• Open‑source data tools.
• Machine learning and deep learning.
