Junior IT Support Engineer – Entry Level

About the role

Mornex, an IT integration and managed services provider, is seeking a Junior IT Support Engineer to join its Technology Support Unit. This entry‑level position works with business customers on a wide range of IT systems, cloud services and security solutions. It is designed for candidates who want to build a solid technical foundation while developing professional independence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical support to business customers, handling tickets from diagnosis to resolution.
• Collect evidence, follow approved procedures and document actions before making changes or escalating.
• Escalate cases to senior engineers with clear context, test results and next‑step recommendations.
• Collaborate with System, Networking, Cybersecurity and Project teams to resolve issues.
• Continuously learn from completed cases and deepen expertise in a chosen technical domain.

Required profile

• Formal training in IT, system administration, networking, cloud or cybersecurity (preferred).
• Strong curiosity, accountability and the ability to learn independently.
• Systematic problem‑solving approach with accurate documentation.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tickets.
• Professional communication skills in English (reading) and Hebrew (writing).

• Active Directory / Entra ID, Intune, JumpCloud, MFA, Conditional Access.
• Microsoft Defender XDR, SentinelOne.
• TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Fortinet firewalls, VPN, VLAN, Wi‑Fi, SD‑WAN.
• Windows Server, Remote Desktop Services, Hyper‑V, VMware ESXi.
• Acronis Cyber Protect, Zabbix monitoring.
• TeamViewer, Quick Assist, CMD, PowerShell scripting.
